First Aid at Work

Emergency First Aid at Work

EFAW training, a one-day course, enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. This level of certification is usually sufficient for smaller workplaces or those with lower risks.

The FAW training includes EFAW and also equips the first-aider to apply first aid to a range of specific injuries and illnesses. It is suitable for larger workplaces or those in higher-risk categories. It is a 3-day course, and is the highest level of qualification offered under the First Aid at Work scheme

First Aid at Work Refresher

To attend this course you must already have attended a FAW course in the last 3 years, or be within one month of it expiring. It condenses the 3-day course into 2 days to serve as refresher training to revalidate an existing FAW qualification
