Hillwalking

How about tackling one of the area’s peaks instead? We can cater for individuals and groups, in both summer and winter conditions. Our experienced instructors hold the highest qualifications available for leading and instructing groups in the mountains, and also know the area very well. We can arrange equipment hire too if you don’t have a particular item, so please get in touch

Mountaineering

North Wales also has some of the UK’s best scrambling routes, so if you’ve a head for heights and are after a bit of an adventure, come with us to visit some of the area’s more famous routes. Maybe you’ve always fancied tackling Crib Goch, or Tryfan’s North Ridge. Or one of the lesser known but super-exciting scrambles like Cneifion Arete, Y Gribin or the West Ridge of Moel Siabod

Mountain Training Awards

Môn Active, through registered providers, can deliver some of Mountain Training’s courses such as the Rock Climbing Instructor, Mountain Leader (Summer) Award, Hill & Moorland Leader Award, Hill Skills, and Mountain Skills. We need a minimum number of participants for each course, so check our Facebook page or our calendar for more information
